heart-curvy-flatHFI is convening four (4) meetings across the country to address Hepatitis C (HCV) Access to Treatment among the Hard to Reach, Hard to Treat™. HFI defines this population as those across racial and ethnic minorities as well as veterans, homeless, Medicaid population, injection drug users and others that lag behind the general population with respect to diagnosis, access to care and treatment. These Stakeholder meetings are designed to engage critical thinking to strategize for effective policy recommendations, interventions and messaging that will serve to effectively address key issues among these targeted population groups. Furthermore, these meetings will include an audience of thought leaders to discuss and develop key recommendations on access, state based HCV Medicaid policy, testing, diagnosis, care and treatment.
