About the Role
The Company is seeking a visionary and entrepreneurial Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its next phase of growth. The ideal candidate will have a deep passion for using data to drive educational outcomes, a proven track record in nonprofit leadership, and the business acumen to build a scalable and financially sustainable organization. The CEO will be responsible for strategic leadership, including the development and execution of a long-term business plan, human capital and operational leadership to support a small but high-performing team, and product impact to ensure that the organization's dataset and capabilities drive its mission. Financial sustainability is a key focus, and the CEO will lead efforts to increase and diversify funding and partnership opportunities. Additionally, the CEO will serve as the organization's chief spokesperson, nurturing relationships with key stakeholders and championing the mission to create a more transparent education market for the benefit of all students. Candidates for the CEO position should have a proven track record of effective leadership and management, with experience in scaling diverse teams and organizations. Strong strategic thinking, particularly around product-market fit, and the ability to develop and implement long-term strategic initiatives are essential. Experience in fundraising and revenue generation, as well as a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, is required. The ideal candidate will also have a deep understanding of the K-12 education market and instructional materials landscape, and the ability to anticipate and address future trends and challenges. Exceptional communication skills and experience as a compelling spokesperson are necessary for this role.
