About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its strategic and operational activities. The CEO will have full profit and loss responsibility, serving as the primary leader in the pursuit of the company's vision and mission. This role is pivotal in coordinating and executing the company's strategic growth plan, which includes both organic and acquisitive growth, in line with a buy-and-build strategy. The successful candidate will work closely with the private equity sponsor, leading the identification, execution, and integration of add-on acquisitions. Operational leadership, talent management, and the development of key internal and external relationships are also key responsibilities. The CEO will be expected to have a proven track record in financial management, M&A integration, and the ability to lead a multi-location, route-based service organization. Applicants for the CEO position at the company should have a background that includes experience in a similar role within a private equity-backed commercial services business, with a strong preference for those with experience in a route-based recurring revenue business. The role demands the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, make data-driven decisions, and build the necessary infrastructure to support business scaling through M&A. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing a multi-location service business, with a focus on operational cadences, sales environments, and gross margin improvement. Proficiency in financial management, including critical metrics for a PE-backed rollup strategy, is essential. The CEO must also have a history of successfully driving organic growth, implementing ERP systems, and leading a field services workforce. A Bachelor's degree is required, with an MBA being a plus. The role requires a self-motivated individual with a strong drive for results and the ability to lead and motivate teams effectively.
