Industrial Engineer Internship Opportunity

Your Mission:

Join us in revolutionizing the production environment for severe-duty class 8 trucks. As an industrial engineer intern, your mission is to create and maintain an accurate digital map of our production floor. Through meticulous data collection and CAD expertise, you'll ensure this vital tool supports efficient workflows, optimized space utilization, and ongoing safety improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure & Verify: Layout dimensions, equipment locations, and existing drawing accuracy.
• CAD Expertise: Create/update digital factory layout in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD).
• Maintain Drawing: Implement system for ongoing updates reflecting layout changes.
• Communication: Collaborate with teams for data & update communication.

Education and Experience:

• In Process: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Strong work ethic, detail-oriented, and a willingness to learn.

Skills:

• Proficient in MS Office
• Experience with AutoCAD or equivalent 2D drafting application.
• Effective communicator across all levels of the organization.
